Bellin Health's Athletic Trainers (AT) keep athletes and people of all ages healthy and active. Athletic trainers provide assistance and support for injuries and ongoing conditions. They offer expert guidance for a range of issues, including sprained ankles and chronic conditions.
In local schools, our ATs work closely with coaches and teachers to ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes. They conduct pre-participation physical exams, develop injury prevention programs, and provide immediate care in case of emergencies. They help with sports injuries and concussions to keep young athletes playing.
In medical clinics, ATs collaborate with providers to diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. They assist in the development of personalized treatment plans, oversee rehabilitation exercises, and monitor progress to ensure optimal recovery.
Beyond the realm of sports, Bellin Health's athletic trainers also contribute to occupational health in local businesses. They assess work environments, educate employees on proper ergonomics, and design exercise programs to prevent workplace injuries.
