Urgent Care Services
Urgent Care offers treatment for injuries and illnesses that strike at inconvenient times. That could be after hours or when you cannot get an appointment with your primary care provider. It's like an extension of your doctor’s office for treatments that don’t require an emergency room visit.
We provide care for colds and flu, broken bones, cuts requiring stitches and other ailments that are not life-threatening. Patients can also seek assistance at our clinics for lab services, IV fluids, EKGS, immunizations and occupational health services, including DOT exams and treating workplace injuries.
Can I get medication?
Bellin Health Urgent Care providers prescribe medications – from antibiotics to pain medications and everything in between. However, Urgent Care does not provide long-term pain management or medicines your primary care provider prescribes.
How much does it cost?
Bellin Health Urgent Care costs are like primary care, so it's less expensive than going to the emergency room. Verify with your insurance provider to learn more about your benefits coverage for treatment.
Should I go to the ER?
In some cases, there is no substitute for an emergency department. You should go to the ER if you experience any of these symptoms or conditions:
- Excessive bleeding
- Heart attack or chest pain
- Loss of consciousness
- Pregnancy-related abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding
- Serious head, neck or back injury
For chest pains, significant injury or other life-threatening medical needs, visit a Bellin Health Emergency Department immediately or call 911.
Who will treat me?
Bellin Health Urgent Care staff includes board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and a variety of nursing personnel to treat patients. You may receive care from our X-ray technologists and lab technicians as well.
