Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is a mental imbalance and behavioral condition that causes dependency and uncontrolled substance use. At Bellin Health, our goal is to encourage and facilitate treatment and recovery for those struggling with addiction.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Medication Assisted treatment for those struggling with alcohol or opioid use disorder helps support recovery and may be used in conjunction with any treatment programs described below.
Substance Abuse Treatment Programs
We offer a variety of treatment programs to fit individuals’ unique needs as they work on their relationship with substance use. Individuals are encouraged to come in for an assessment so our team can work with them to develop the right treatment plan.
All of our substance use treatment programs involve individual therapy, group therapy or a combination of the two. Group therapy offers a support network among patients to share experiences, strength and words of encouragement. Individual therapy gives patients the opportunity to meet with their therapist one-on-one to talk through personal issues, evaluate progress and discuss discharge planning. Frequency and intensity of these therapies can vary based on individual patient needs.
Participants will also learn about factors that aid in addiction, and they will develop effective behavioral strategies. The goal of Substance Abuse Treatment is to facilitate recovery from the effects of substance use disorders and improve overall wellness and quality of life.
