Our objective is to deliver all-encompassing care to patients suffering from neurological issues.
At Bellin Health our specialists find and treat many brain disorders that can affect our daily lives. If you have severe headaches or unexplained dizziness, a neurologist can help you find out why and provide solutions.
One of the most common conditions neurologists deal with is epilepsy, a disorder characterized by recurrent seizures. These seizures can vary in intensity and duration, and a neurologist will carefully evaluate your symptoms to determine the most effective treatment plan.
In addition to epilepsy, neurologists are also well-versed in the management of movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease. This progressive condition affects the body’s ability to control movement, leading to tremors, stiffness and difficulty with coordination. A neurologist can create a personalized treatment plan to improve life quality by examining and using advanced tools.
Another area of expertise for neurologists is the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s disease. These conditions gradually impair cognitive function, memory and behavior, making everyday tasks increasingly challenging. Neurologists help patients and families by providing support and teaching, as well as connecting them to resources for managing the disease’s progress.
Neurologists are instrumental in the care of individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS), an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system. Neurologists can help patients with medications, therapy and lifestyle changes to manage symptoms, slow disease progression and improve well-being.
Neurologists treat stroke, a serious condition that blocks blood flow to the brain. Quick action is vital to reduce brain damage and prevent lasting disabilities. Neurologists quickly evaluate strokes and start suitable treatment, like medicine, surgery or rehab.
If you or a loved one is experiencing any issues related to the brain or nerves, seeking the expertise of a neurologist is highly recommended. Their specialized knowledge and skills enable them to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for a wide range of neurological conditions.
