Recognized for high performance managing hypertension
MADISON — The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) has recognized Bellin Health Escanaba as a top performing clinic based on its management of hypertension.
The honor acknowledges the clinic team’s outstanding efforts in managing blood pressure in the hypertension patient population by hard-wiring interventions into their work. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, can lead to strokes, heart attacks, heart failure or kidney disease.
Gabrielle Rude, Ph.D., incoming WCHQ president/CEO and director of practice transformation, will present the award today to Bellin Escanaba team facilitator Ashley Young, who will accept on behalf of her clinic.
WCHQ annually honors a select number of member organizations for superior clinical performance and patient outcomes.
“The high level of performance that Bellin Health Escanaba has achieved and sustained means they are committed to providing the best care possible, every time, to every patient,” said WCHQ President/CEO Chris Queram. “The work that they are doing to attain that level of accomplishment is a testament to their dedication to helping the people in their community live longer, more productive and healthier lives. We are very pleased to honor their commitment and performance.”
