MARINETTE — Spread the love and lace up your sneakers for the third annual Bellin Health Marinette 5K Heart Run/Walk, 1-mile Community Walk and Children’s Run. Set to take place at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Bellin Health Marinette, a commitment to this heart-healthy event is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and prioritize your heart this year. A virtual option is also available for those who prefer to participate at the time and place of their choosing.
The Bellin 5K Heart Run/Walk is led by race director Brian Cleven, an experienced endurance athlete and cardiac rehab exercise physiologist at Bellin Health Marinette, and the same team behind the highly-regarded Bellin Run and Bellin Women’s Half Marathon & 5K. The race offers a top-notch experience, complete with kids’ activities, a family-friendly environment and delicious post-race refreshments.
“We are thrilled to be back for our third year, engaging our patients and communities in a fun, family-friendly way to get active,” said Cleven. “Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show your heart some love and make a commitment to year-round fitness and fun.”
Participants in the 5K, Community Walk and Children’s Run will receive a commemorative T-shirt and finisher medal. Registration prices start at just $25 for adults in the run/walk events and $15 for youth in the Children’s Run.
