Coach lends neighbors a hand in fun, funny spots filmed locally
GREEN BAY — Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur again takes center stage in a series of new Bellin Health ads, the first of which made its debut last week. Filmed in a Green Bay-area neighborhood, the new spot offers a humorous take on the concept of “Coach helps the neighbors,” with clever wordplay highlighting how LaFleur helps out with his neighbors’ homes — and their health.
The next commercials in the new series will debut later this fall and early next year, respectively, and will focus on the 2025 NFL Draft, being held in April in Green Bay. Bellin and Gundersen Health System, which earlier this year announced it is becoming Emplify Health, is a donor supporter of the Draft. And while future advertising campaigns will incorporate the new name and brand, this series of spots continues to focus on the Bellin Region of Bellin and Gundersen.
“We love partnering with Coach LaFleur to showcase our exceptional services and commitment to patients and community,” said Melissa Quinn, Enterprise Director of Brand for Emplify Health. “These locally filmed ads are fun and funny, but with an important message — we’re here to care for you at all ages and stages, whether here in Green Bay or across our growing footprint as we become Emplify Health.”
Quinn also teased a fun surprise in the next ads in the series, encouraging Packers fans to keep an eye out for a familiar face.
“We can’t resist a good cameo, and our next spots have one that will surprise and delight viewers — so stay tuned!” she said. “It’s another fun way of sharing the important message that Bellin and Gundersen Health System remains committed to a future of healthy people and thriving communities — no matter where you and your neighbors call home.”
In the previous commercials, Coach LaFleur has masterfully portrayed a variety of roles to highlight services provided by Bellin Health. In last season’s ads, filmed at Bay Port High School in the Howard-Suamico School District, LaFleur’s leadership helped get everyone from football players to a band director in the right place to ensure teams were performing at their best. Prior to that, spots humorously depicted him as the “perfect parent,” overcoming childrearing challenges, and even as a teen himself, channeling his inner adolescent to display the importance of age-specific care.
