Bike Rodeo, Bellin Village promote healthy family fun to celebrate football’s return
GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers and Bellin Health will celebrate the return of football with two classic events this week. Members of the public are invited to join in the following free events:
Bike Rodeo
The Green Bay Packers, Bellin Health and the De Pere Police Department will team up to promote bicycle safety during a Bike Rodeo event from 8:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday, July 24 at the Nitschke Field parking lot.
The event will feature free bike helmet fittings, a bike helmet giveaway and a bike safety course designed to help children learn the rules of the road. Suamico Bike Company will be on site to offer no-cost adjustments for kids’ bikes. Children also can enjoy special activities including balloon animals and glitter tattoos. The event will be held in the Nitschke Field parking lot, next to the Packers’ practice field.
Bellin Health Training Camp Village
Individuals and families of all ages are invited to enjoy the return of the Bellin Health Training Camp Village, a fun- and health-focused event to be held from 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, July 27. Activities will take place in the Nitschke Field parking lot, next to the Packers’ practice field.
Attendees will enjoy family fun, with games, inflatables and prizes for kids; and a Packers alumni meet-and-greet with three former Packers for parents — plus the chance to win tickets to Packers Family Night, sponsored by Bellin Health! It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn about health, no matter what your age.
“As the official healthcare provider of the Green Bay Packers, we are thrilled to join with the team in offering these enjoyable, family-friendly and health-focused events,” said Chris Woleske, Bellin Region President. “Bellin and the Packers are dedicated to community, and this is a fantastic chance to promote health and wellness while cheering on the Green and Gold. Go Pack Go!”
