Free event for teens, parents, school staff explores impact of social media on mental health
Bellin Health and the Green Bay Packers are excited to announce a brand-new free event, The Mental Health Film Room, happening Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. inside the Johnsonville Tailgate Village at Lambeau Field.
Parents, teens, school social workers and counselors are invited to participate in a thought-provoking evening that includes a film screening of “LIKE – Are you using technology or is it using you?” followed by a discussion with a panel of Bellin Health and Green Bay Packers experts. Attendees will receive valuable resources to help facilitate conversations surrounding mental health at home and school. WBAY morning news anchor Aisha Morales will facilitate the panel discussion.
The film explores the impact of social media on mental health in today’s society, encouraging individuals to reflect on their relationship with technology. The subsequent panel discussion will provide valuable insights and perspectives on the topic.
Attendees will also have the chance to meet a player from the 2023 Green Bay Packers, offering fans a chance to engage in healthy conversation with a member of the Green and Gold.
