Bellin Hospital has received its eighth-consecutive five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
These ratings provide patients with information across five areas of quality:
- Mortality
- Safety of care
- Readmission
- Patient experience
- Timely and effective care
“Every day, our dedicated team members combine caring and expertise to ensure safety and the patient experience remain at the center of all we do,” said Bellin Region President Chris Woleske. “This eighth consecutive five-star rating underscores their unwavering commitment to providing the very best in care, and I am pleased to see their efforts recognized in this way.”
More than 3,000 hospitals nationwide received a star rating during this evaluation period. Of those, Bellin was one of just 483 (about 16 percent) to receive the highest rating of five stars.
