Emplify Health Children & Adolescent Center

We understand the unique needs of adolescents and teens, and that is why we have a dedicated adolescent clinic within this building. Offering comprehensive care during this stage of life, including behavioral and mental health care, a disordered eating program, adolescent gynecology care and traditional adolescent medicine. 

This outdoor space is thoughtfully designed to be accessible and enjoyable for children of all ages and abilities. It features adaptive play equipment, sensory-rich elements and inclusive design features that promote physical activity, social interaction and fun! The playground is a safe and welcoming environment where children can play and explore, interact with their provider if needed and enhance their overall physical and emotional well-being.

The sensory gym caters to children of all abilities, providing a safe and stimulating experience for therapeutic sensory exploration. Equipped with a range of tools and equipment, this gym helps children develop motor skills, balance, coordination and positive, age-appropriate sensory processing mechanisms. This space also offers adjustable lighting and unique tactile surfaces to aid in creating a calming, de-escalating environment, making the room ideal for kids who need a break from overwhelming feelings and stimuli.

Our child life services room is designed to support children and their families during their healthcare journey. It offers a variety of age-appropriate activities, items and resources to help children understand and cope with medical procedures and other healthcare experiences. We have a certified child life specialist on-site to provide emotional support and education, making the healthcare environment more comfortable and less stressful for young patients. 

Unique to this building, we offer a disordered eating program that is tailored to each patient's unique struggles and needs. Our registered dieticians, behavioral health providers and the patient's primary care provider will collaborate with each other and the patient's household members to develop a care plan that is right for them.

The model apartment is a fully equipped, realistic living space designed to help adolescents and young adults of all abilities develop essential life skills. This area provides a hands-on learning environment where patients can practice daily living activities, such as cooking, cleaning and building confidence through common household tasks. It is an invaluable resource for promoting independence and preparing young individuals for successful transitions into adulthood.

The pediatric lab is a child-friendly space where we perform various diagnostic medical tests and procedures. Our skilled and compassionate staff are trained to work with children, ensuring that each visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The lab is equipped with kid-approved distraction tools and the latest technology to provide accurate and timely results.
