GHX recognizes commitment to removing waste, increasing efficiency
Bellin Health announced today it has been recognized by healthcare supply chain leader Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) as a ‘Best 50’ healthcare provider. For the past 14 years, GHX’s annual ‘Best 50’ award spotlights the top North American hospitals and health systems based on their proven ability to improve operational performance while driving down costs through supply chain automation.
“At Bellin Health our top priorities are the communities and patients we serve,” said Patrick Rowan, Bellin Health Supply Chain Director. “This award recognizes our commitment to removing waste and increasing efficiency within our supply chain strategy to ensure the highest quality of patient care. I am extremely proud of our team for rising to the challenge once again.”
Honorees are selected from a pool of more than 4,100 provider organizations connected to the GHX digital trading platform that score highest in areas such as maximizing document automation, Exchange utilization and trading partner connections during 2021. The recipients will be recognized during an awards ceremony at the GHX Summit 22 on May 11.
“The GHX Best 50 honorees have once again proven that by tapping into the expertise of supply chain teams, delivering outstanding care at lower costs is possible,” said Bruce Johnson, president and CEO, GHX. “Even as COVID-19 continues to create a challenging environment for healthcare providers, organizations like Bellin Health have created greater efficiencies and eliminated waste, ultimately helping to deliver more value for patients.”
