Early-stage prostate cancer causes no symptoms, but advanced prostate cancer can cause the following problems:
- A slow or weak urinary stream or the need to urinate more often, especially at night
- Blood in the urine
- Trouble getting an erection
- Pain in the hips, spine, ribs, or other bones
- Weakness or numbness in the legs or feet
- Loss of bladder or bowel control
It’s important to call your Bellin Health doctor if you have any of these symptoms.
