Packers, Bellin Health Team for Training Camp Events

Bike Rodeo, Bellin Village offer healthy family fun to celebrate football’s return

The Green Bay Packers and Bellin Health will celebrate the return of football with a classic favorite event and a returning newer offering this week. Members of the public are invited to join in the following free events:

Bike Rodeo
The Green Bay Packers, Bellin Health and the De Pere Police Department will team up to promote bicycle safety during a Bike Rodeo event from 8:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, July 28 at Nitschke Field.

The event, to be held in conjunction with that day’s Green Bay Packers training camp practice, will feature free bike helmet fittings, a bike helmet giveaway and a bike safety course designed to help children learn the rules of the road. Kids also can enjoy special activities including balloon animals and glitter tattoos. The event will be held in the Nitschke Field parking lot, next to the Packers’ practice field.

Bellin Village
Individuals and families of all ages are invited to enjoy the return of the Bellin Village (formerly Bellin Blitz), a fun-and health-focused event to be held from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 30. Activities will take place in the Nitschke Field parking lot, next to the Packers’ practice field.

Attendees will enjoy family fun, with games, inflatables and prizes for kids; and a Packers alumni meet-and-greet for parents — plus the chance to win tickets to Packers Family Night, sponsored by Bellin Health! It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn about health, no matter what your age.

“We are excited to be back at training camp, celebrating our Green Bay Packers partnership with these fun, family-friendly events,” said Bellin Health President & CEO Chris Woleske. “Bellin and the Packers are committed to community, and this is a great opportunity to promote health and wellness while having a blast with the home team. Go Pack Go!”
