Programming to raise the bar for area soccer players
Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is excited to announce its partnership with MacRoc Athletic Development Center, a data-driven soccer training center specializing in player development for athletes of all ages and ability levels. Bellin Titletown and MacRoc are working together to offer programming that includes injury prevention and treatment, nutrition, mental health and other services to shape more successful, well-rounded athletes.
“We are so excited to partner with Bellin Health to offer these invaluable services to our athletes at all ages and stages,” said MacRoc Founder and Owner Mackenzie August, who plays locally for the Green Bay Glory Women’s Premier Soccer League team. “Although we place a heavy emphasis on using the latest technology to help our players advance, we know there is more to their development than tech and data alone. Working with Bellin, we can offer programs and services that benefit both organizations, as well as all the athletes we serve.”
Bellin Health has provided elite care to its patients and community for more than 110 years, and the MacRoc partnership is the latest example of why that care is so important, said Phil Schaible, Bellin Health Director for Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.
“We are so proud to be associated with MacRoc, and with partners like Mackenzie who focus on developing young people both as players and as individuals,” Schaible said. “Our job is to support her program by building athletic potential – and she turns that into skill on the soccer field. We are excited to partner with her in helping young people chase their dreams.”
MacRoc opened in 2016 and has quickly expanded to include more space and more technology in the service of area players. After an initial move in 2017, they moved into their current, larger facility in May of 2021. They are the first and only facility in Wisconsin to house a Senaptec Sensory Station, Toca Touch Trainer, Elite Skills Arena: Fast Feet, Icon Version 2 & Precision Wall.
