Aug. 28 ‘Get Tough, Speak Up!’ session is free to Bellin for Women members
Just in time for the start of school, Bellin for Women will present “Get Tough, Speak Up!,” a free bullying workshop for parents and children, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine & Orthopedics, 1970 S. Ridge Road.
The event will help parents identify the signs and symptoms of bullying and learn what to do if their child is experiencing it. Children are encouraged to attend as they’ll learn about what it means to be an UPSTANDER and how to protect their peers, as well as taking part in a self-esteem boosting activity.
Event registration is required, and individuals must be Bellin for Women members to attend. Registration is available online at bellin.org/calendar or by calling (920) 445-7373 or (888) 758-7373. Bellin for Women membership is free at bellinforwomen.com.
