Bellin Health Sturgeon Bay to Host Aug. 11 Open House

Initially an employer clinic, 13,000-square-foot facility now open to the public

STURGEON BAY — Bellin Health Sturgeon Bay will celebrate being open to the general public with an open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 at the clinic, 311 N. 3rd Ave.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Bellin’s Sturgeon Bay providers, tour the 13,000-square-foot facility and enjoy an autograph session with Green Bay Packers alumnus Gerry Ellis. The event also will feature a drawing for an autographed Packers football, as well as children’s activities.

Bellin’s Sturgeon Bay clinic moved in December 2015 to its current location, where it served about 100 employers before opening to the public earlier this summer. Prior to that, it served employees of Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in an onsite clinic.

“We are excited to celebrate the expansion of our healthcare services to the entire Sturgeon Bay community,” said George Kerwin, president and CEO of Bellin Health. “We offer our heartfelt thanks to the employers that have partnered with us thus far, and we look forward to working with the general public to improve the overall health and wellness of this terrific city and the larger region.”

Bellin Health Sturgeon Bay offers family practice, lab, physical therapy and occupational health services, as well as the convenience of on-site x-ray. It also houses a Bellin Health FastCare clinic, offering acute care for a fixed rate for minor ailments and illnesses.

Providers at the Sturgeon Bay clinic include Dr. Paul Greenlaw; nurse practitioners Elyse Engebose and Loren Scholl; and physical therapist Amber Puissant. The clinic’s phone number is (920) 743-0255.
