Bellin to Break Ground on New Oconto Falls Clinic

Facility Scheduled to Open in August

Bellin Health will hold a groundbreaking event from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, March 26 to celebrate construction of its new Oconto Falls clinic.

Bellin Health Oconto Falls is expected to open Aug. 24 at 107 E. Highland Drive. The 9,000-square foot new facility will replace Bellin’s current Oconto Falls location at 833 S. Main St.

The clinic will continue to offer internal medicine and family practice services, x-ray, lab, drug testing, DOT physicals and other employment-and school-related services, behavioral health, colonoscopy and more. The new clinic location also will offer mobile unit mammography and bone densitometry, as well as physical therapy services.

“This facility is a clear illustration of our unwavering commitment to providing top-notch healthcare to residents in and around Oconto Falls,” said George Kerwin, president and CEO of Bellin Health. “Its state-of-the-art design, expanded services and excellent providers will enhance the patient’s experience from the moment he or she walks through the door.”

The new building has the same design as Bellin Health Algoma, construction for which was completed last year. Physicians at that facility have praised its efficiency for patient care and workflow, as well its aesthetics.

Amy Dettman, Vice President of the Physician Division at Bellin Health, will offer remarks during the March 26 event, as will Rhonda Key, clinic manager of Bellin Health Oconto Falls; and Dr. Lucy Canaday, Family Medicine physician at the clinic.

Other providers at the Oconto Falls clinic include Certified Physician Assistant Tracey BeFay, Family Medicine; and Dr. William J. Wittman, Internal Medicine, both of whom have been at the clinic since it opened in 1997.
