Bellin Health Home Care Equipment Opens New Store

A new and improved Bellin Health Home Care Equipment store is up and running at 1220 E. Mason St.

The retail location replaces the former Bel-Regional Home Medical store at 617 S. Roosevelt St. It joins a second Bellin Health Home Care Equipment location at 508 S. Military Ave.

The new store is 10 times larger than the prior location, and features bedroom and bathroom vignettes to better demonstrate home safety solutions.

Bellin Health Care Home Equipment caters to consumers in need of medical equipment including wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lift chairs, bathroom safety equipment, compression garments, pain management items and more. In many cases, such equipment is prescribed by a physician.

The following Grand Opening events at the Mason Street store are planned for the week of March 16-20:

Scooter and seat lift chair Q & A, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
*Free vein screening, 10 a.m.-noon

Tuesday, March 17
Stair lift demo, 10 a.m.-noon
Diabetic footwear discussion, 3-5 p.m.
*Free diabetes screening, 3-5 p.m.

Wednesday, March 18
Home safety product showcase, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Free sleep disorder screening, 2-4 p.m.
PAP therapy products, 2-4 p.m.

Thursday, March 19
*Free heart health screening, 8-10 a.m.

Friday, March 20
Healthy legs talk, 10 a.m.-noon
