The Green Bay Packers and Bellin Health will celebrate the return of football with a classic favorite event and a brand-new offering this week. Members of the public are invited to Lambeau Field for the following free events:
The Green Bay Packers, Bellin Health and the De Pere Police Department will team up to promote bicycle safety during a Bike Rodeo event from 8:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, July 29 at Lambeau Field.
The event, to be held in conjunction with that morning’s Green Bay Packers training camp practice, will feature free bike helmet fittings, a bike helmet giveaway and a bike safety course designed to help children learn the rules of the road. Kids also can enjoy special activities including balloon animals and glitter tattoos. The event will be held in the Lambeau Field parking lot near the Oneida Nation Gate.
Bellin Blitz – new event!
Individuals and families of all ages are invited to enjoy the brand-new Bellin Blitz, a fun-and health-focused event to be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 31. Activities will take place in the Lambeau Field parking lot near the Oneida Nation gate, as well as in the Nitschke Field parking lot.
Attendees will enjoy some family fun, collect great freebies and score a touchdown for their health. They can pick up a free water bottle at any of our Bellin booths, collect cool stickers for their bottles, learn about health issues that matter to them and sign up for a chance to win some great prizes.
“Training camp is back, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our Green Bay Packers partnership with these fun, family-friendly events,” said Bellin Health President & CEO Chris Woleske. “We are so grateful for the COVID-19 vaccines that have made it safe for us to gather together again, and we encourage everyone ages 12 and older to be vaccinated. It truly is our best shot at a continued return to normal.”
